Copper was diagnosed with Transitional Cell
Carcinoma (TCC) in April of 2004. On 15 Feb 2005 I
had to make the very difficult decision to end his pain.
I miss my best friend greatly.
What
is TCC and how Copper was diagnosed
The Pit Bull Problem -
It speaks for itself.
The Sad Reality -
And people wonder why Pit Bulls attack. Even
sadder is that these kinds of things happen to all
breeds of dogs.
I
adopted a new puppy!! 12/17/05
I created this site to educate people on how to care
for and raise an American Pit Bull Terrier. This
site was created out of my own experience raising a Pit
Bull and the love that I have for the breed.

You will
not find information about breeders, fighting, weight
pulling or other sports that Pit Bulls might be involved
with. I am defiantly against fighting and as far
as weight pulling or other sports APBTs compete in I don't know much about
them. My dog is a family pet and this
site is geared towards educating people who are looking
to adopt, or already have a pit bull as a family pet.
Most of
the information on this site can be used to care for any
breed of dog. I love all breeds of dogs and would
like to see the pet population in shelters and rescues
reduced. There are thousands of Pit Bulls sitting
in shelters waiting to be adopted. This is mostly
due to the fact that ignorant people are over breading,
mistreating and misunderstanding them. This is why you
will not find breeder information here but rather links
to shelters.
I strongly suggest to people to
neuter and spay their pets. If your dog is a
family pet then there is not any reason why you
shouldn't spay or neuter him/her. Every year 4 to 6
million animals are euthanized because there are no
homes for them.
Most
of all I created this site to brag about my dog
Copper. He is my best friend and my favorite topic
of discussion. I want the world to see that an
American Pit Bull Terrier can make a great pet and that
they are a wonderful breed of dog.
